About Us

Murphy Road Baptist Church has served the Murphy area since the turn of the century.  We moved to our present location in 1979 and have grown with the community during these years of rapid expansion.  Our deepest desire is to see lives changed by the powerful message of Jesus Christ.  We pray that Murphy Road will be a church where you experience the love of God as we live out His truth together.  

On this website, you can get a glimpse of the various ministries that we have to help you and your family grow closer to God and one another.  You can also listen to podcasts of our services and see ways that we are trying to reach out beyond our walls to impact our community and world.  

I do hope, though, that you will join us for a Sunday service soon.  I think you'll find that Murphy Road is a really special church.
