Kids Night Out / Special Needs

Once a month, Murphy Road Baptist Church will offer an evening filled with fun for your child with special needs and his/her siblings. While you enjoy an evening to yourself, your child will enjoy an evening of games, arts and crafts, stories, and various other activities. Our mission is to provide a safe, nurturing environment for your child to learn, explore, and blossom with new friends. Our volunteer staff will include at least one special education teacher and other well informed, caring individuals.

Kids Night Out is the first Friday of every month from 5:30 pm - 8:30 pm.

Special Needs Children on Sundays

We are currently searching for at least two teachers to begin a special needs class on Sunday mornings.  The hours would be from 9:30 a.m. to the end of second service (between 12:00 - 12:30 p.m.).  If you or someone you know would be interested in filling this need, please contact Jennifer Raack at 214-991-0029 or email her at children@murphychurch.com

In the mean time, if you have a special needs child and are in need of special care on Sunday mornings, please contact Jennifer Raack at the above number and she will make arrangements for an adult helper to care for your child.
